WORSHIP AT ST. TIMOTHY LUTHERAN

WHEN AND WHERE
Worship is at 10 a.m. on Sunday and we gather in the newer of our two buildings. There is a coffee pot in the entryway for anyone to hang out before worship. Our building is completely accessible and includes a small elevator to aid folks going to the basement for fellowship events.

OUR THEOLOGY
When we gather together to worship God we gather as a community around God’s Word and God’s holy supper. We are met in worship by a living God who addresses us with an amazing announcement: In the life, ministry, death and resurrection of Jesus I am loving you into new life. It is a gift. Receive it gladly. Let this new life in Christ guide your daily walk with God and others.

HOLY COMMUNION
Each week we offer Holy Communion to all who wish to receive, including children. This meal is a sign of God great love for us and a reminder of our links with one another and our hungry world.

MUSIC
Services at St. Timothy are liturgical in shape with a rich variety of musical styles present in our 10 a.m. worship. Our adult choir sings weekly and practices at 9:15 a.m. Our children’s choir sings monthly.

CHILDREN
Children are encouraged to attend services. A special “Tiny Tims” time brings all the younger children forward to meet with the pastor. Then the go to their special learning time and return for Holy Communion later in the service.

VIDEO
We also are blessed with a video system that feeds live pictures and sound to the nursery and other parts of the building. We record four copies of the services simultaneously on VHS tape so we can share worship with anyone who is homebound or out of town on Sunday.
